Sweet Charity

-

After the devastation that the Covid-19 pandemic has bought to the arts, RicNic Hampshire are delighted to return to Theatre Royal Winchester this summer with the outstanding musical Sweet Charity.

Sweet Charity explores the turbulent love life of Charity Hope Valentine, a hopelessly romantic (but comically unfortunate) dance hall hostess from New York City. Full of flair and fun, the musical captures all the energy, humour and heartbreak of life in the Big Apple.

With well-known numbers such as Big Spender, If My Friends Could See Me Now and Rhythm of Life, Sweet Charity promises to be an unforgettable evening at the theatre. Make sure to book tickets early to avoid disappointment!

RicNic Hampshire is a youth theatre charity for 16-21 year olds, providing participants with the fantastic opportunity to run their own show, for free, each summer. Previous productions have included West Side Story, Gypsy, and Thoroughly Modern Millie, all of which have been widely praised as a ‘great showcase of young talent’ with a ‘dash of star quality’. This year’s fabulous production is set to be equally unmissable!

This amateur production of SWEET CHARITY is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC. www.concordtheatricals.co.uk
