The AI Arts Festival evening ticket includes:

Live Interview (5pm)
Live interview with leader of the Orchestre National de Jazz, guitarist and composer Frédéric Maurin and saxophonist Steve Lehman by Thomas Irvine, Head of Music at University of Southampton.

Orchestre National de Jazz (6pm)
Hear special guests the Orchestre National de Jazz featuring world renowned saxophonist Steve Lehman, performing Ex Machina - an exploration of interactions between instrumentalists and a machine within a large jazz orchestra.

Panel Discussion on AI and the Arts (7.30pm)
A lively discussion into how AI and the arts intersect, featuring Dame Wendy Hall, BBC technology journalist Bill Thompson and other special guests.

Multimedia live installation (8.40pm & 9.25pm)
A world premiere event, Dr Pablo Galaz showcases a live installation featuring (Amsterdam-based) musical collective Ensemble Resilience and multidisciplinary artist Angela Wai Nok Hu, in which the audience is immersed in live audiovisuals generated by both humans and AI.

Late-night comedy – Ted Hill and Alex Farrow (8.40pm & 9.25pm)
AI standup comedy, but this time ChatGPT will be the one performing! Under the tutelage of experienced comedian Ted Hill (‘Few comedians harness the frenetic activity of their minds quite as comprehensively as Ted Hill’ – Chortle) a version of ChatGPT trained by University researchers will join him the stage to help find the funny with the audience members. Part performance, part scientific experiment, all entertainment – guaranteed! Joining Ted is Alex Farrow (“Practically perfect in every way” ***** The Scotsman), a former philosophy teacher asking can machines think?’
