Lloyd and Rose Buck: Our Life with Birds

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Lloyd and Rose Buck: Our Life with Birds has now been cancelled. Ticket holders will be contacted in due course regarding refunds.

Back by popular demand, this delightful and heartwarming show welcomes back Lloyd and Rose Buck and their incredible birds.

It's not often you see birds on stage in a theatre and even more rare to see one flying over the audience but Our Life with Birds promises to give audiences a rare opportunity to meet Golden Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, hawks, owls, starlings, crows and many more - all raised and trained with the utmost loving care by bird handlers Lloyd and Rose Buck.

The new 2020 tour will also include their brand new Goshawk called Lottie, new clips from their latest programmes and more stories from their unique life working on films and TV programmes from Poldark to Casualty to Sherlock and with film and television stars from Sir David Attenborough to Huw Bonneville to Joanna Lumley.

Over the last 25 years, husband and wife team Lloyd and Rose have devoted their lives to taking care of birds and mastering the art of capturing them on film.

They are, without a doubt, the world’s experts at tracking birds and in-flight filming.

They often appear on camera themselves and are frequent guests on television programmes such as The One ShowSpringwatch and Countryfile.

From Tilly the Golden Eagle to Poppy the pigeon, it's unusual to find Lloyd and Rose without one of their feathered family under their arms.

"Looking after our birds is not just our career and job, it is a lifestyle, as you have to be there for them seven days a week, but we love it" - Lloyd Buck

This show is illustrated with Lloyd and Rose's own film footage and photography and is suitable for all ages.  It promises to be an interactive wildlife experience like no other!

"The Bucks are remarkable people because when they do imprint, they form a bond they can’t break and it means those swans are with them for life"

Sir David Attenborough
