We won!

We are very proud to have been awarded Best Family Entertainment in Hampshire.

The Hoop Awards celebrate the country’s best organisers of family activities, who “go above and beyond to entertain, educate and inspire children nationwide”.

Over the past year the theatre has delighted kids – young and old – with a range of fun and educational shows including The Gruffalo’s Child, The Amazing Bubble Man, and More Magic For Kids!, as well as our fantastic traditional family panto, Beauty and the Beast, which received a nomination in the national Great British Pantomime Awards.

Later this year we are hosting One Small Step – a fast, furious and full-throttled trip to the moon! Luca Silvestrini’s Protein present their dance and spoken word adaptation of the world famous story The Little Prince; and we’re joined by Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs: The Magic Cutlass!

If that wasn’t enough, we also run our popular Playmakers Youth Theatre, children’s workshops and summer schools where young people can come and explore their creative side and rehearse and perform their very own shows on our stage.
