Join our panto support cast!

We are looking for additional members to join the supporting cast for our pantomime, Dick Whittington.

We are inviting expressions of interest from strong dancers and singers with a performance background who wish to take part as a volunteer support cast member for our annual Pantomime, Dick Whittington, running from Saturday 30 November 2019 until Sunday 5 January 2020.

This is an exciting opportunity to tread the boards in the world of professional theatre!

We are welcoming applications from males and females aged 16+ (reaching 16 before Saturday 31 August 2019 but with no upper age limit!) to take part in this year's production alongside our professional actors.

Rehearsals will take place on Sundays beginning on 3 November 2019, followed by rehearsals with the main cast from week commencing 18 November 2019 onwards in the lead up to the start of the production's run.  Successful candidates will be required to be available for either the whole run of 60 shows, or to be in one of two teams, which will each perform in 30 shows throughout the run. You may also be asked to be available for other events to promote the show, either before or during the run.  A full list of rehearsals and performances schedule will be made available at the auditions.

Expressions of interest should be sent to recruitment@playtothecrowd.co.uk - please detail your dance and performance experience and availability during the panto run, by Monday 7 October 3pm. Successful applicants will be then contacted re audition dates and details.

In order for us to assess your application your details will be shared with our external creative production team.  Your details will not be used for any other purpose.
Play to the Crowd promotes equal opportunities and welcomes applications from people from the widest possible diversity of backgrounds, cultures and experiences.

We reserve the right to withdraw or change our offer of a place in the production at any time, this includes where full disclosure has not been given as part of the application process.  Any expenses incurred relating to the production are entirely the individual's own, including travel.
